At Goodwood Dog beds we aren't about flashy marketing videos, label and tags rainbows and butterflies. Its all about getting our amazing canvas dog beds into the kennels of the hard working heading and hunterway dogs that are the back bone of New Zealand. Goodwood Covers has been around since Mobey dick was a goldfish.
I purchased Goodwood in 2013 and have grown the brand and added in our dog bed range.
Our beds are made of hard wearing canvas that has be designed for horse covers.

Our 16oz and 18oz are the heaviest canvas beds on the market. The canvas is waterproof mold and algae resistant breathable and environmentally friendly.

I also pride our brand as being as very substantiable as you can get. With our kennel outer beds farmers just take the wool straight from the wool shed and fill our outers themself. The natural properties from the fleece offer both warmth and flea deterrent. With our Prefilled beds for domestic dog we use the by product from our amazing knitting mill which is a possum and merino blend and this avoids it going to landfil. And that means so much to me.

Our margins are kept low so you can afford to get our beds into all of your teams kennels at night, so they to can wake up after a warm comfortable sleep and hit the hills running.100% NZ natural fleece is used to pack the canvas outer for warmth and comfort 16oz waterproof canvas is used for durability and longevity UV stabilized thread holds these comfortable mats together, along with a strip of industrial strength 50mm velcro to allow you to top up and replace with fleece.

The reason for using the Possum and Merino yarn is the the beds, is so the domestic dogs that aren't used to the smell of the raw natural wool still giving the beds the comfort and warmth without the temptation of chewing thru the canvas.
